About Us

Our Philosophy

Irish Aroma is a small producer of top quality fragranced products, our main product ranges being soy candles. Because we care strongly about the environment we strive to only use the finest natural and renewable ingredients, including 100% biodegradable soy wax, pure cotton wicks, essential oils and premium fragrances. We want our products to be safe for all of our customers and are well aware of the negative health impacts of some other products on the market making use of poor ingredients. This is why we only ever use premium, sustainable ingredients in all of our products. In addition, all our packaging is recyclable and reusable.

Where We're From and What We're About

We work from outside the scenic seaside village of Carlingford, Co. Louth. All of our own brand products are handmade in Ireland. We love what we do here at Irish Aroma and will continue making high quality candles and aromatics for many years to come. We have been in the business for just over three years now and have improved in many areas since we first set out. We have literally tested thousands of candles with different combinations of waxes, wicks and containers. We found out that the industry standard for fragrance was only about 3 - 7%, we make sure to always use 10% which is the most that the wax can hold. This ensures a strong aroma and powerful scent throw for every candle.

A Little Bit About Our Ingredients

We use only 100% soy wax in all of our candles and wax products. We get our wax from a reliable supplier who only sources from sustainable soy farms, many of them family run. Soy wax is a healthy and renewable resource that is continually producible without damaging the ecosystem in which it is grown. We guarantee all our customers that our candles contain no palm wax, beeswax, herbicides or pesticides.
